Tourism in Central Istria, Europe
There are various towns and places to travel and visit in Central Istria, Europe. Pazin is the center and heart of Istria, Europe. It’s also the major tourist attraction. There are also other awesome places to visit, sight-see and take part in various outdoor activities. Such as biking, hiking, climbing, fishing, horse riding etc. These other towns and places include Beram, Boljun, Cerovlje, Draguc, Gracisce, Rakotule, Kringa, Pican, Sveti Petar u Sumi, Sveti Lovrec and Tinjan.
Central Istria, Europe usually holds various events each year such as Winter Cup of Pazin, which is a fishing and angling competition during the early days of winter. This international competition is usually attended by various participants across the world. The facts that only few places have fish during winter; Croatia being one of them makes the competition attractive to people who love winter outdoor activities; which benefits one’s health.
There is also the June Verne days; a literally event is usually held at the end of June since 1998 to commemorate the author of ‘Mathias Sandorf’. It is also an event where other writers can showcase and market their literally works.
Other events that are included
The Pazin’s traditional fair; an event which brings traders together to market their surplus agricultural products. As well as other literature, music, sports and cultural events; which are scheduled at specific times of the years. Agri-tourism is also an attraction; if you love tasting various traditional dishes and cuisines native in Croatia. Also honey festival, or beer festival, can be great times for a visitor to try some traditional products from the region.
The nightlife of Central Istria, Europe is also vibrant with several night clubs, hotels, concerts and art vents; which characterize the place especially during summer. However, culture and heritage of the early life of Croats. Also, the inhabitants of Istria, Europe, is one of the major attractions in the area for people who love history.
There is much to learn about the early life of these places; which date back several centuries ago. There are several ancient attraction places which have been well preserved and protected to enshrine their history. Such as the Pazin Castlein Europe. Which is a great place to start learning. Of importance in history also are the several ancient churches and monasteries; which are found in the place. Such as the church of the St. Mary of Rocks.
